SLOW WINE GUIDA 2023

SLOW FOOD EDITORE

LIFE- Camigliano is a small village surrounded by vineyards and cultivated land, an outpost of Montalcino in medieval times. Gualtiero Ghezzi's father, the current owner, bought the estate in the fifties, releasing his first vintage in 1967. The modern underground cellar is built in the town center in order to enhance the village, getting lost in its narrow streets and enjoying the enchanting panoramas.

VINEYARDS - The technical director Sergio Cantini guides us through the vineyards of the estate, showing us the parcels that surround the village. The landscape is wide and directly overlooks the Val d'Orcia; sea breezes from the west refresh the air, amplifying that feeling of airiness that makes the landscape unique.

WINES - We register significant progress on a stylistic level: the wines appear more and more recognizable, elaborated in full respect of a classicism of form and substance.
