He has maintained his presence firmly and with full merit in guiding Camigliano, a picturesque corner of Tuscany on the hills around Montalcino for decades under the loving eye of the Ghezzi family. There are almost one hundred hectares of vineyards, managed organically, with obvious priority to Sangiovese which here expresses itself at the top of its potential - without the Riserva, wisely not produced in the difficult 2017 vintage, the Paesaggio Inatteso selection wins company leadership. A selection that draws inspiration from a single vineyard whose mineral qualities mark the tasting alongside a creamy and rounded palate and where the aging wood is perfectly integrated. The other wines are good and well priced.
