General informations

WINE:
This is a varietal made with Vermentino grapes, which are common in all warm and ventilated Mediterranean climates. Its ideal location is the area near the Ombrone River.

SOIL:
Clayey with plenty of skeleton grain.

PLANT DENSITY:
5,000 plants/ha.

TRAINING SYSTEM:
Cordon spurred.

VARIETY:
Vermentino.

VINIFICATION:
Soft pressing, racking, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at 16°-18°C for 2-3 weeks.

AGEING:
Bâtonage on the skins for 4-5 months at about 16°C before bottling.

NOTES:
A Vermentino from Tuscan lands with the sunny and ventilated Mediterranean climate to create a fresh, aromatic, fruity, soft wine with a slightly bitter finish. Perfect year round as an aperitif, better in summer paired with fish and other seafood dishes. Best served cool at 6°-10°C.
