General informations

WINE:
The grapes are cultivated on selected terrain after careful clonal experimentation in order to produce a Brunello with unparalleled elegance.

SOIL:
Clayey with good percentage of limestone and silt.

PLANT DENSITY:
5,000 plants/hectare.

TRAINING SYSTEM:
Spurred cordon.

VARIETY:
100% Sangiovese Grosso.

VINIFICATION:
Soft pressing, fermentation in stainless steel vats at 26°-28°C with moderate pumping over, maceration on the skins for 20-30 days.

AGEING:
24 months in oak barrels followed by 12 months in the bottle.

AGEING POTENTIAL:
While at its highest levels at the moment of its release, this wine manages to further the gentleness of the tannins as well as a steady aromatic evolution over years of bottle ageing.

NOTES:
Great wine with intense aromas and balanced tannins that is able to express all the characteristics of the “terroir” in quality and typicality in the selection of clones in addition to the choice of the sunniest terrain with the best location.
A classy wine that promises an interesting evolution that will extend over time. Best served at the optimal temperature of 18°C and paired with game, beef and aged cheeses, but it can also be served alone as a meditation wine.
