Wine Tour

The tour of Camigliano allows you to fully explore the enchantment of a time-honoured history rich in details that go hand in hand with the evolution of its wines which offer unique and unrepeatable sensations.

The tastings take place in the old cellar carved out from the lower part of the “castle”, featuring wooden beams and stone walls, where time seems to slow down while we are involved in tasting the wines and products of Camigliano.We kindly ask you to arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts at the offices right in the village of Camigliano. Directions are available on line.

Wine Brunch Tour

Duration:
2 hours.

€ 25,00 per person.

The Brunch Tour is for wine lovers who would like to know about the history of Camigliano;

Tour the technologically advanced cellar that is completely underground in a place where there was a once another invasive structure, admire the sweeping view of the neat rows of vines as well as the typically Tuscan gullies called “calanchi” from the spacious terrace, and finally taste the wines in the tasting room.
The wine tasting features three vintages of wine paired with bruschetta, cold cuts and typical Tuscan sheep cheese.

Camigliano is located 10km south west of Montalcino in a charming and sunny area rich in Mediterranean brush, olive groves and vineyards, at an altitude that ranges between 300 and 350 masl, facing the Maremma area in a natural, unique and unspoilt setting.

From Florence and Siena

Exit A1 at Firenze Impruneta
Follow the Firenze-Siena highway and exit at Siena Sud
Follow the directions on the Via Cassia SR2 for Montalcino
From Montalcino, follow the provincial road towards Grosseto.
About 1km outside of Montalcino there will be a sign on the right for CAMIGLIANO. Turn right.
Go down the paved road and take the first left. Continue on for 8km to get to the village of Camigliano. Watch for signs for another right turn after the village of Tavernelle.

From Grosseto

Exit at Paganico onto the SS 223 Via Senese
Follow the directions for Montalcino
At Sant’Angelo Scalo, turn left and follow the road for 4.6km until Camigliano
Once you arrive in the village, follow the signs for the parking area and then follow the signs to the Uffici (offices)-Old Village on foot.
